Re-designing knife block efficiency
Beautiful, modular, low-profile, compact, efficient, designed for those who are always moving, limiting their ability to carry or buy high quality knives. PIZKI hopes to change the way people use knife blocks, allowing anyone to bring their top knives with them wherever they go.
Design efforts began with research, finding the top user needs and concerns - knife damage, fitting most knife sizes, ease of use, durability, low footprint and aesthetic. Sketches and prototypes were the next steps to find a solution that addressed user needs.
PIZKI was created, fitting up to nine knives with varying sizes, complete with an easy access cutting board dock, weighing no more than 2 lbs.
